The vessel Good Company II is a perfect fishing vessel with a comfortable cabin, private bathroom and plenty of room for your coolers and other gear. We love to teach technique and you do not need experience to have a great time aboard Good Company II!

No Fishing License Required! Custom trips available! Just ask the Captain! 


  • Within 24 hours of booking, Captain Doug will contact you to confirm date and time

  • Bait and tackle are included 

  • Gift certificates are available 

  • Tournament and Special Occasion Charter Available

  • Deposit is non-refundable if you do not show up for the trip 

  • Rates do not include loss of a rod and/or reel 

  • Mate will clean/fillet your catch. Tip to the mate of 20% is considered reasonable.


If the Captain cancels the trip for weather or other reasons

and a new trip can not be arranged, a full refund will be issued.

These 6 person trips consist of fishing for Blues, Striped Bass, Fluke, Blackfish, Sea Bass, Porgies, and Winter Founder as the species become available to catch

$875/Boat with Tip

For larger groups of 7 or more people, we use only Connecticut Charter Party Boat Members who are fully licensed and insured.


The price per boat includes the tip. This is a very popular trip.

Rules and Safety

  • Our main concern is that you have a safe entertaining cruise

  • Captain has the right to return to port should anyone become disorderly or drunk (at the captain’s discretion).

  • Moderate beer drinking is allowed.

  • No hard liquor — No drugs

  • No firearms (felony in NY waters)
